The Tennessee Aviation Association (TAA) is an airports advocacy organization representing our statewide system of airports. The mission of TAA is to promote and encourage communications among its members, governmental entities and the general public; and to foster a better understanding of the value of all airports in the State of Tennessee.
Celebrating more than 25 years of statewide advocacy, TAA membership includes representatives from airports, local governments, consultants, vendors and other suppliers that serve the aviation industry. We are proud to produce the annual Tennessee Airports Conference which is the single best event in the state in which to network, stay informed about the industry, and to learn about new aviation business opportunities.
TAA is a non-profit corporation organized under section 501(c)(6) of the IRS code. We are dedicated to promoting airport-friendly State policy and legislation. There are many challenges facing general aviation today and each legislative session offers the aviation community the opportunity to be heard. TAA strives to stay aware of current legislative initiatives, allowing the association and its members to be proactive and effective when issues pertinent to aviation are presented.
